The Metropolitan Police in London released a statement that the body of a man had been found in a pond in Epping Forest. This development is related to the police investigating the disappearance of 19-year-old Richard Okorogheye of Nigerian origin.
Mr Okorogheye, who has sickle cell disease, left his family home in the Ladbroke Grove area of west London on the evening of Monday, March 22, and was reported missing 48 hours after. He was last seen on CCTV in Loughton, Essex in the early hours of Tuesday, March 23, walking towards Epping Forest, which prompted a search in the area.
The 19-year-old’s Oxford Brook university student family have been updated.
