Just like many others, Larry had faced a lot of challenges in life as a young man. Larry started  boxing at the age of 12 just for self-defence and with no parents around, boxing was the only thing that kept him going through hard times. Now that he is doing very well, Larry said he is trying to bring more sporting glory to Nigeria and inspire the youth to hold on to their dreams and belief to never give up as he always says: “You just never know what comes tomorrow.”
