Meet the New African Giant: Damini Ogulu pouplarly known as Burna Boy, once hunted by his dark past of being locked up in 2013, grabbed by the headlines in 2015 for being in a fight with another artist, in South Africa, accused by a lady for impregnating her in 2016 which turned out to be fake and also in the centre of a robbery scandal accused by another artist MR2KAY where he was declared wanted by the Nigerian police just to mention a few. No doubt burna boy had a troubled past but one thing for sure is the fact that he made mistakes but he never lost focus on his vision.
After years of hard work and not allowing his past to get on his way of achieving great things, Burna boy is officially the number 2 artist in Africa for selling out the 12,500 SSE Arena, Wembley London, for the UK leg of his African Giant Tour 2019. To confirm his reign as the True African Giant, Burna boy was crowned as the best African Act at the just concluded 2019 MTV EMAs award which took place in Seville, Spain on same night when Burna boy was busy entertaining his fans in London.
