A 36-year-old black woman and mother of three from Peckham South London has died of Corona-Virus at home after calling 999 and being told she was not a priority despite suffering from the symptoms of COVID-19.
Kayla Williams died the next day after the emergency line told her to look after herself at home. Her husband Mr Williams made the 999 call when he noticed his wife was breathless, vomiting and in so much pain in her stomach.
A paramedic came over to perform some tests on the her after some time but told the couple the hospital wouldn’t admit her because she is not a high priority.
Mrs Williams condition got worse the next day, her husband found her lifeless body after she slumped in the room while he was resting in the lounge.
