“They say once you go black you never go back” but reverse is the case this time.
The catholic clergy body in Sicily Southern Italy has been thrown into confusion after they discovered that two nuns sent to Africa came back with pregnancy on return from missionary service.
One of the nuns who is a mother superior, a high profile role in the Catholic body reported herself that she was several weeks pregnant while the other woman discovered the news when she complained of stomach pain.
According to the Catholic leaders who are now investigating the matter it appears that both women had obviously had some form of sexual encounter while performing their missionary duties in Africa.
We must remind you that catholic fathers and nuns are not allowed to have any sort of sexual relationship let alone having kids.
Both nuns are now facing pressure to quit religious life but what is not clear is who the fathers of the babies are and also if the Catholic church will continue to send nuns to that part of Africa.
