This is another evidence that proves racism most especially against black is not going away at least not anytime soon. Yamba, a trainee barrister from the Democratic Republic of Congo, was shocked when he woke up to see a spray painting of “No Blacks” on the door of his new home just after 5 days of moving into the Salford Area of Manchester, United Kingdom

Yamba told how himself and his 10-year-old son, David, were left “traumatised” after seeing the abusive spray painting, David said he was too afraid to live in his own home after the message in their small blocks of flat.

Yamba, reported the incident to Greater Manchester police on the same day but no action was taken until he tweeted about it. The tweet was shared more than 12,000 times that now forced the Manchester police to launch a hate crime investigation.

The entire community including the police, politicians and members of the public rallied round him to show support and also condemn the act. A fundraising page has raised nearly £2,000 for a new front door, while others offered their spare rooms to the pair.

A 54-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of painting racist graffiti on a family’s door in Manchester.
